Astro Machine Works is excited to celebrate its 8th annual Manufacturing day for four days this year, celebrating top initiatives in empowering manufacturing, changing negative public perceptions regarding manufacturing and introducing young people to manufacturing careers.
This year we are hosting students from 6 local schools. The students are currently enrolled in coursework including Engineering, Metal Working, Welding, Precision Machining and Manufacturing. Our President Eric Blow will kick off the tour with a brief introduction outlining Astro Machine Works company, culture and career opportunities. The students will then tour our 3 buildings with an interactive tour featuring our CNC Machining, Quality/Inspection/Reverse Engineering, our Welding & Engineering departments, Wire EDM & Grinding and finally our Machine Design & Assembly area.
