Astro Machine Works Expands their CNC Milling Capacity by Adding a Second 5-axis Gantry Mill for Large Parts Manufacturing

Astro Machine Works is continuously adding new equipment to better serve our customers and keep up with increasing demand.In 2023 we added a Diamond Linear 30 gantry style 5-axis machining center.

This additional large capacity CNC Gantry Mill allows for larger parts, with a 118” X axis x 102” Y axis x 47” Z axis travel.  This machine compliments our existing gantry and bridge mill; the configuration is “Linear”, with linear motors for three machine axes and torque motors for rotary axes. The Parpas Diamond Linear 30 features a monobloc structure with a gantry moving saddle and stationary workpiece.
