ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management Systems

ISO 9001:2015 is the international benchmark for quality management. This certification confirms that Astro Machine Works follows a consistent, documented quality management system with mechanisms for continuous improvement.

AS9100D — The Standard for Aerospace and Defense

AS9100D builds on ISO 9001 with additional requirements specific to aerospace and defense manufacturing. This AS9100 certification addresses the processes needed for flight-critical and defense-related components, including enhanced reliability, safety and traceability.

CMMC — Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification

This U.S. Department of Defense certification validates our secure handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). For government and military contractors, defense manufacturing compliance includes cybersecurity. We protect your project data, designs and intellectual property with audited cybersecurity controls. NIST SP 800-171 — Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Confidentiality

NIST SP 800-171 is a cybersecurity framework developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It establishes strict standards for protecting the confidentiality of sensitive but unclassified data on non-federal systems. To be compliant, we implement its 110 controls and stay up to date with revisions to keep your information safe.

AWS Welding Certifications

Our welders hold certifications to American Welding Society standards, including AWS D1.1. They also hold ASME Section IX certification. We maintain an in-house Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) who oversees quality control on every weld.

These welding certifications and manufacturer credentials ensure the strength, integrity and quality of every weld. With in-house control of welding and fabrication, we move quickly on complex projects while maintaining the highest standards.

ASNT-TC-1A — Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Our personnel are certified to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods that detect flaws without damaging components. This provides confidence in part integrity for critical applications where failure is not an option.
