Leading Component and Machinery Manufacturer Presents Scholarship Gift

(Ephrata, PA) 1/17/11 – – Employees of Astro Machine Works, a leading products and solutions provider of custom machinery, automation equipment, fabricated components and precision machined products recently presented a scholarship gift to be given to the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in the amount of $1000.

For the second consecutive year, the employees of Astro have presented the Thaddeus Stevens scholarship as a gift to the owners at their annual holiday luncheon. The money will be awarded as a scholarship to a student studying in the Machine Tool & Computer Aided Manufacturing class. As Scott Alleman, Astro machinist and gift presenter stated, “The owners of Astro have always been committed to helping our community and assisting young people who are pursuing the machining trade. Our entire team supports that commitment. Giving the scholarship to the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology was a perfect way to show that support.”
