Astro Installing a New 5-Axis Gantry Mill
Astro Machine Works will soon be installing a new Parpas Diamond Linear 30 gantry style 5-axis machining center, again expanding our large machining capabilities. With a 118” X axis x 102” Y axis x 47” Z axis travel, this will be the perfect complement to our existing gantry and bridge mill. The Parpas Diamond Linear 30 features a monobloc structure with a gantry moving saddle and stationary workpiece. The machine configuration is”Linear”, with linear motors for three machine axes and torque motors for rotary axes.
We are adding this machine to accommodate continuously increasing demand. Our customers are from a wide range of industries including Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Aerospace, Food Processing, Government, Telecommunications and Energy.
